RENATA’S TEN WAYS TO COPE WITH DEPRESSION


 10.  Have brunch with good friends and listen to someone funny (like Billy) tell stories
9.    Avoid negative people
8.    Watch funny movies
7.  Listen to your favorite upbeat music in the car and sing to it, no matter how bad you are (no one’s listening!)  
6.  Get a dog or cat
5.  Laugh as many times per day as possible
4.  Take a walk (with your dog if you have one) outside every day (I have trouble doing this one!)
3.   See your therapist
2.  Take your medication
1.  Have faith in a higher power that things will get better
